I won't be surprised if CBS News and Dan Rather stonewall the forged documents scandal and never reveal sources, conversations, etc. If however, this does shake out, I would not be surprised to hear that Rather's daughter, Robin, who is a player in Texas Democratic politics, was the conduit between her father and the forger of the documents. Why else would he be so combative this morning in his "We stick by our story until further notice" interview on television. I'd also look to the other person who surfaced in the 60 Minutes interview as being involved - Ben Barnes, former Texas Lieutenant Governor and soon-to-be autobiographer.
