Clintons Complain. NBC Grovels.

This is par for the course for the cowards in the mainstream press:

Reporter initially defended Chelsea comment
By Michael Calderone, The Politico

Before MSNBC's David Shuster was suspended by the network Friday for on-air comments he made about Chelsea Clinton, the television reporter engaged in a heated correspondence with a spokesman for Hillary Clinton in which he defended his appearance and refused demands to apologize.

On Thursday, Shuster guest-hosted Tucker Carlson's MSNBC show, "Tucker," and in referring to Chelsea Clinton's role in calling superdelegates on behalf of the Clinton presidential campaign, he asked if she was "sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?"

Later that night, he heard from an outraged [Philippe Reines, "a longtime Clinton aide"], who called the remarks "absurdly offensive."

Shuster was unrepentant. He told Reines his commentary was justified because of the contrast between Chelsea Clinton's overt political role and the aggressive way campaign aides "jump down the throat" of reporters who seek to question her about it. (link)
Shuster, of course, mistook his role with NBC as being one involving journalism. In fact he, like all the other reporters for NBC, had been pimped out to the Clintons long ago. To be used as they saw fit.

David learns a lesson about "journalism" in modern America. The hard way.

A quote from National Review Online's Stephen Spruiell:

"Could it be that after his many, many fact errors and his blatant bias, the only thing that can get David Shuster suspended from MSNBC is the wrath of the Clinton campaign?"

No matter how hard they don't look, the "news" media can't find anything wrong until Massa tells them it's wrong. Okay, now I got it. Massa's flunkeys in the MSM declared "hands off" Chelsea while Massa Clinton infested the White House. Then, they proceeded to demolish the Bush girls every chance they got. Hmmm.

Hmmm. Wasn't Chelsea 12 years old when the Clinton's moved in and the Bush twins already in college. Do you guys have any examples where the MSM demolished them. No, I thought so.

I was pretty stupid, as usual, to ask a question and then not allow time for an answer. Like most liberals, I don't really want to hear anything that might change my view of the world. Please forgive me for being such a dunce.

Of course there is a double standard shown by the MSM in regards to the Bush and Clinton girls.

think for a moment about the hall passes given to the current administration by the mass media after 9/11.

Chelsea was off-limits when she was a kid. She's out campaigning now. And she's fair game. But the point is, to see a journalist apologize for having expressed his opinion is pathetic.

And the Clinton Corruptos didn't get a hall pass for what they failed to do before 9/11, anon. including turning down Osama's head offered at least 3 times by Sudan? And then, there was Sandy Burglar after 9/11. And, Riady funneling Chinese PLA money to the Clintons followed by PLA money through General (?) Hsu for Billary. Yeah, the MSM really treat Bush with kid gloves. I, for one, have no problem if a "journalist" expresses an opinion provided he labels it "opinion" and gives reasons for it. This guy is a disgrace to an already disgraced trade. (I refuse to call it a profession and apologize to honest tradesmen everywhere.)
