I'm sure this dude (allegedly) broke the law. I'm just having difficulty understanding what federal law he broke. It seems clear, though, he's (allegedly) in heap big trouble:

FBI agents swooped down on the party pad of a 20-year-old University of Tennessee economics student - and son of a Democratic lawmaker - who allegedly hacked into the personal e-mail account of Republican veep nominee Sarah Palin.

Agents took names, and then hustled everyone outside while they took pictures, according to WBIR-TV. (link)

I think this kid should be given a fair trial and then be hanged. I'm just not sure why.

* Just kidding about that hanging part. A $25 fine will suffice.
