John Murtha (Pa.) has sent out a last-minute plea for $1 million to save his hotly contested seat, endangered by his own remarks describing his district as racist.Now that Ted Stevens is on his way out (he is, right?), Murtha becomes the most despised man in Washington. A defeat would be sweet, regardless how all the other races turn out.
In an e-mail sent to potential donors, Murtha’s campaign asked his supporters to maximize all campaign contributions.
“We need to raise another $1 million to compete,” his campaign fundraiser Susan O’Neill wrote in the e-mail obtained by The Hill. “We need money immediately.”
Polls show Murtha, running for his 18th term, ahead of his GOP opponent by just a few percentage points. (link)

Yup, anon, right up there with My Boy Lollipop Barney Franks and his choice of sweethearts as in the boyfriend who ran a male whorehouse out of his apartment and the other thief who was a biggie at Fannie Mae (or was it Freddie Mac)? Proud Democrats all.
Stevens is headed to the big house ran by the feds. Murtha should be headed for the graveyard after his trial and appointment with the hangman. Thousands of Marines will volunteer for hangman duty.

Anon, how about Larry Sinclair who admits to having serviced Hussein O both with sex and crack (also the type you smoke). I guess that means Sinclair provided Hussein O with two cracks. Maybe that's why Hussein's plane stinks (reported by the media hypes), smoking pot and crack would tend to stink in a confined space.
