This is priceless. A woman (an economist?) writing in today's Washington Post declares Obama's bloated stimulus plan to be the right medicine for America's economic illness. Another economist says so. Therefore:
Obama's Recession Fix Fits Economists' Models
That's economists, plural.
In fact, the author only mentions two. One of which, sure enough, thinks massive government spending (what were Bush's budgets exactly - meager government spending?) is the cure to the current recession.
And the other economist? What's his take? Here's her quote:
"'My fantasy ... is that the stimulus coincides with the natural forces that will turn the business cycle up.' Such a recovery could be strong enough to create the jobs needed to stabilize housing prices. Nothing in the data, however, predicts this yet." [my emphasis]
His fantasy? That's an argument?
A good chuckle to go along with my morning coffee. We're staking the future of the United States of America on some economist's fantasy.
Ya can't make this stuff up.

I have a fantasy, Jerry, and I'm not even an economist. I dream that President Obama-ayers repudiates communism and socialism and baby murder and "leads" us in making a better America. He starts by firing the corrupt thieves in his cabinet such as Daschle and Geithner, Clinton and her merry Clintonite retreads, etc. He continues by stopping his headlong rush toward destruction of our remaining freedom. Slick Willie had the chance to be a great president and threw it away. Will Obama-ayers flub it, too?
I think this guy is using the same computer models that show "tippin point" global warming.
This these guys are so good, why did they not see this problem coming?
...Al...
Obviously Al, they had strict orders from George Soros.
