On Super Bowl Sunday

I'll be honest. I hope both teams win.

I have my lengthy list of NFL teams that should never win a Super Bowl - the Bears, Eagles, Ravens (Art Modell!), Vikings.

And I have my short list of teams that should always be in the Super Bowl - Packers, Colts, Lions (I know).

Then there are teams - and personalities - that are just fine with me. Cardinals. Steelers. Warner. Roethlisberger. I don't want either to lose.

Which means, unlike 1998, I'll be able to digest my pizza, no matter what the outcome is.

Let the game begin.

Amen, brutha. I find it hard to believe they began this epic at noon when the game actually starts after 6:00. Lessee, pretzels, chips, dip, Rolling Rock, Buffalo wings, caviar, smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail. Yep, I'm ready. (The caviar was a gift. I wouldn't want the Dems to think I'm rich.)

Let's go back to the ... Rolling Rock?

The guests picked the poison, Geraldo. I stuck to the white wine and Brie, yes?

The only guy in Eagle Rock who enjoys white wine and brie.

What is brie anyway? Isn't that some kind of facial lotion?

Peasant! It's the stuff the French squeeze out from between their toes and call it soft cheese. (Personally, I prefer Limberger). The US Brie variety comes from Wisconsin, I believe. All us liberalis tax n' spenders just love to slather it on our stone ground multi-grain crackers, while sipping our white wine and bitching about George Bush. (While watching the Super Bowl?) Hmmm. Looks like I'm just getting in deeper.
