Annie B To Run Again

From the office of Delegate Anne B. Crockett Stark:
Crockett-Stark announces re-election run

Wytheville, VA- Delegate Anne B. Crockett-Stark (R-Wythe) announced her intention to once again seek the House of Delegates seat for the Sixth District.

Del. Crockett-Stark gave a legislative update and made her announcement at the Wythe County Republican Party monthly meeting.

State Senator Ken Cuccinelli, a candidate for Virginia Attorney General, was on hand for the event. Sen. Cuccinelli told the crowd that Del. Crockett-Stark was not only famous for her love of the color purple and for her "bee" pins, but considered a hard-working legislator at the Capitol.

The Delegate's remarks focused on the efforts she co-patroned for unemployed workers, education funding and capital outlay in higher education, which is projected to bring in 3,400 jobs into Virginia and increase infrastructure to continually educate a workforce for the future.

"Our nation and our great Commonwealth are certainly having tough economic challenges, but I believe Virginia has worked hard this session to meet our needs and will face the new challenges as they come." Crockett-Stark said.

Delegate Crockett-Stark is planning campaign kick-off events in each of the five counties she represents. More information will be available in the coming weeks.

Crockett-Stark was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2005. She represents all of Bland and parts of Giles, Pulaski, Tazewell and Wythe counties.
