3 U.S. Troops Are Killed in Iraq ClashAmerica's best. God love them.
By Steven Lee Myers, New York Times
Baghdad — Two American marines and a sailor were killed during a military operation in Anbar, the vast province west of Baghdad where combat operations and violence have declined dramatically, the American military command said in a statement on Friday. The three Americans died on Thursday “while conducting combat operations against enemy forces,” the statement said. It provided no other details about the circumstances of their deaths.
The deaths brought the total for American troops in April to 18, according to the Iraq Coalition Casualty Count, making it the deadliest month for American forces in Iraq since September. [link]

It's Still a Dangerous Place
Those who "man the walls" are still sacrificing to make this country safe and the world a better place:

How exactly is this country safe because we are occupying Iraq? I believe our country is not as safe because of the debacle in Iraq.
Lemme guess... we are fighting them over there instead of fighting them here? Horses ass!

We're not "occupying", droob, we're gradually turning the country back over to the Iraqis just like we did after we beat the dickens out of Germany, et al in WWII. But then, you and the other Democrats and their media sycophants heartily endorsed putting people through shredders, rape rooms, stealing the money from the oil for food program to build palaces, the training of terrorists so they could sally forth to kill those damned Christians and Jews, paying families of Palestinian homicide bombers $25,000 for "serving" Allah, cutting heads off terrible people like Daniel Pearl, slaughtering Iraqis and putting them in mass graves we're still digging up, etc., etc. By having the terrorists go there to kill us, resulting in us and the Iraqis killing many of them, we did make this a safer country. But, not to worry, Comrade Eric Holder, at the behest of President Obama-ayers, will soon be letting the Gitmo terrorists loose here to practice their fun and games. Just go back to your French and U.N. friends and find out what other kinds of perversions they can invent to help the world. Oh wait, they're already working with Danny Ortega, the Castro boys, Chavez, et al to build a better world.
WD, try and not let your emotions get too much of a grasp on you, your writing suffers greatly! I am not really sure how to respond to such a mismash of false truths and unconnected information, but I will respond to a few...
"putting people through shredders"
‘We heard it from someone who had been released from the Abu Ghraib prison....I heard his account of what went on in the prison. I was there when [Indict’s] cross-examination of the witness took place, and I am satisfied from what I heard that shredding was a method of execution. We knew he wasn’t making it up.’
1 person? I'd bet that you would believe someone saying that GWB had a torture chamber in Crawford, TX... especially if that person was a convict from Folsom Prison!

"rape rooms"
Yeah, the Democrats were endorsing Uday's rape rooms... I guess I was wrong in assuming that Amnesty International was a liberal organization... "Amnesty International is once again calling on the Iraqi authorities to implement concrete measures to end the systematic torture and ill-treatment of political prisoners and detainees and to introduce legislative and practical steps to improve the human rights situation in the country."

Daniel Pearl murder? That was Pakistan, not Iraq!
Mass Graves? I'm sure you didn't care when Pinochet (you know, Reagan's buddy) was filling mass graves in Chile, or when in the same decade as Saddam was killing his own people, that there was genocide in Darfur.
Those damned Gitmo detainees are SCARY! I mean, really is that what a grown-up Repubican like yourself should be saying?
You really need to work on your focus WD, you are starting to slip!
Drew
You missed the whole point, Droob. and you "reasoning" is irrational and disconnected to put it politely. For example, reports of mass graves in Chile make mass graves in Iraq okay with you? Kindly don't label me a Republican, they are almost as bad as the completely unprincipled Dems although they have not changed their stated core beliefs in many moons. They have all too often ignored them with the help of such leading lights as Arlen Specter.
Of course it doesn't make it right, but I haven't heard you talk about them like you talked about Iraq...
Were you as concerned about the people of Darfur as you were about the people of Iraq?
Darfur and Chile were way worse than Iraq, look up the death counts and see for yourself! And you cannot forget that Reagan was awful chummy with Pinochet
Drew
I like how you see my reasoning as disjointed, when you are the one who put up seemingly random bits of information... you are nearly as bad as the GWB administration was!
