The terrible irony is that Obama, Mr. Hope and Change, has now placed the US squarely on the side of authoritarians throughout the MIddle East. These are the people he doesn't want to upset because he believes he can make a deal with them.

We're headed back to the days when our government negotiated with the tyrants who kept their own people down, and then those repressive governments told their people we were the source of their problems. Oh, and Jews, whom Obama and his mentor Reverend Wright hate, also.

George Bush tried to change our relationship with the average Muslim by putting us on the side of their freedom. Liberty. Democracy. Economic freedom.

Obama does not believe in those things. This episode shows he believes in government control. The big fellows get together and agree on regulations to control the little people. Or just shoot them in the streets. All the same to him.
