The Washington Post this morning breaks the bad news to gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds.

Do you have a different career in mind, Big Guy?

Among those "who say they are certain to vote in November":

Republican Bob McDonnell ... 54%
Democrat Creigh Deeds ........ 39%

Of course 52% of the electorate either has no opinion or is undecided. So if McDonnell is caught coming out of Rielle Hunter's hotel room, or he's found to have wads of cash stuffed in his freezer, or it's determined that he's a lunatic, things could change.

But I wouldn't count on it.

Deeds needs a Plan B. And fast.

Before the voters of Virginia present him with one.
