Are They Just Ignorant?

Moronic?

Or shrewdly deceiving.

You decide.

Both the editorial page of the New York Times and that of the Roanoke Times this morning make the same argument about government funding of abortions.  Both support the idea (duh).  Both want us to believe that Republican efforts to block government funding of abortions is somehow getting between the doctor and the patient.

Say what?

How does government funding - or the prohibition thereof - intrude on that relationship?  Will abortionists be prohibited from talking to those who seek abortions?  Will Planned Parenthood not continue to open its doors wide to every minority it can get its hands - and knives - on?

It's a silly notion, since the killing of little children will continue in this country regardless what happens with ObamaCare.

Why make such a preposterous argument?

Could it be that it's the only argument - misguided as it is - that they have to make?

- - -

* The Roanoke Times editorial team should have the decency to declare a glaring conflict of interest in this matter, as the paper's publisher happens to also be on the board of the area's biggest abortion provider.

Put two and two together. The antique media are largely in the tank for the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party is pro-abortion and must put abortion into any government health scheme bill. Abortion is the most sacred sacrament of Eugenics believers like Marge Sanger, the original Hitler, pseudo-intellectuals, et al.to rid the world of "defectives". (Adolph wanted to build a master race.) Our own Commonwealth sterilized mental defectives toward the end of improving mankind even though many who suffered that indignity were not retarded. It's a perfectly rational move for the Party of Death to push baby murder at our expense while they remind the elderly it is their duty to die. These are the people who want to "fix" the Constitution to eliminate all reference to a Creator and "update" the guaranteed right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Obama-ayers, his congress and his czars will thus build a brave, new world owned and operated by government of the Important, by the Important and for the Important.
