Recess From What?

Our senators had been working?

Some think so:

Hope they get some rest. Laying low while America battles crisis after crisis can take it out of a guy.

Give our hard-working Congresspeople a break, Jerry. You clearly haven't seen the difficult debate over legislating that IHOP stay open 24 hours.

From that story Jerry linked:

"Webb, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations subcommittee on East Asian and Pacific Affairs, will visit Korea, Thailand, and Burma, over nine days. He will hold a variety of meetings with government officials, U.S. diplomats, military officials and business leaders.
...
Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Mark Warner leaves Monday for a week-long visit to Colombia, Peru and Ecuador to talk with leaders about the illegal drug trade, energy and climate change."

Sounds super-relaxing!

I haven't read anything about the trip but would have bet a months pay Webb would go to Thailand. That's where he can molest young boys to his hearts content for a few dollars. The sexual perversion in his book is not 3rd party as he claimed but in 1st party, him.
