Didn't We Whip These Jerks In a War Once?

Talk about goat-getting:

Two suggestions:

1) To Felipe Calderon: Do something to affect conditions in your country that force millions to flee to the USA in hopes of finding a standard of living not available in your hellhole.

2) To Obama: Don't apologize to this worm for Arizona's attempt at doing your job for you. You owe the people of Arizona the apology for letting them down.

If this Calderon is so concerned about the twelve million of his countrymen who are here being abused, how about we send them all back? What say, Felipe?

Why'd You Vote For Him Again?

Obama is so far from the mainstream, he can only be labeled an extremist now.

To prove it:
The 73% fringe that supports AZ immigration law
By Ed Morrissey

Barack Obama and the Democrats keep trying to paint the new law in Arizona on immigration as some sort of misguided effort by a frustrated fringe. Unfortunately for them, a new poll from Pew Research shows that they’re the fringe — even in their own party. Almost three-quarters of Americans support Arizona’s new law, and almost two-thirds of Democrats support the already-law requirement for immigrants to carry ID.

That’s not the only bad news for Obama from Pew.  While they have his overall job approval at a perhaps-generous 47%, his numbers on immigration have tanked over the last six months.  They started off badly in November, at 31/48, making immigration one of his weakest policy areas, but he’s managed to lose 12 points in the gap since.  He’s now at 25/54, down from 29/47 a month ago.  His dismissive attitude towards Arizona’s law has damaged him.

Of course, it’s not just his remarks about the law that’s the problem.  The federal government all but forced Arizona to act after its inaction allowed Phoenix to become the kidnapping capital of the world.  Violence plagues Arizonans, natural-born citizens and legal immigrants alike, and they’re tired of getting no response from Washington.  They want a common-sense approach to law enforcement, such as actually enforcing the law.  If Obama won’t do it, they will. It's a strange era we live in.  The American people have needs.  The federal government has an agenda.  And ne'er the two shall meet.

Odd indeed.

Let's Get Beyond This

I should tell you, I was a rather radical leftist back when I was in college and sponging off of others.  Anti-war, anti-government (that was a radical leftist position then; it somehow became a radical right-wing position later while my fellow leftists abandoned me and became huge government sycophants), and pro poverty programs, and all that.

Then I grew up.

With that in mind, I'm reluctant to make too much of this:
Kagan’s thesis on socialism suddenly hot news again
By Allahpundit

Red State has a copy, leading Erick Erickson to declare, “This proves Elena Kagan is an open and avowed socialist.” Andy Levy’s sardonic reply:

This Kagan woman may very well be a socialist.  But she could just as easily be a roast beef sandwich.

We just don't know.

And it's guaranteed that we won't find out until her butt is firmly planted on the Court.

It's the age in which we live ...
