But They Don't Walk The Walk

I wonder if there were any of those diehard "environmentalists" at that leftie "One Nation" rally in Washington yesterday. If so, this, the site of the rally after everyone left, says a lot about their commitment to the environment:

Actually, it appears that they were there.  If you consider the Sierra Club an environmentalist organization and not simply an arm of the Democratic Party.

How do they live with themselves?

For more on the deplorable trash problem these people left in their wake, go here.

And what does it say about a rally when the organizers have to pay people to attend?

We Need a Proofreader!

From the ever vigilant journalists at WRIC.com in Richmond:

A story about depressed and lonely hunters looking to bag a six-point and get some lovin' at the same time?

Uh, no.

It's an article about a special hunt for deer and wild pigs in two of Virginia's state parks.

We've Got Work To Do

This latest survey from SurveyUSA shows how far Morgan Griffith has to climb if he's going to defeat our sorry excuse for a United States congressman:

VA-09's Boucher Bucks GOP Tide, Heads For 15th Term: In an election for US House of Representatives in Virginia's 9th Congressional District today, 09/30/10, incumbent Democrat Rick Boucher defeats Republican State House Majority Leader Morgan Griffith 53% to 38%, according to this latest exclusive WDBJ-TV poll conducted by SurveyUSA.

Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released 4 weeks ago, little has changed; Boucher up 3 points, Griffith is down 2. In addition to maintaining a commanding lead among women, Boucher now leads among men and voters under age 50, groups where he previously trailed. [link]
That's a huge lead with little time remaining.  If you don't want more of the same, you'd better get word out to those who plan on sitting on their dead asses on November 2.

For a Very Good Reason

Congressman Rick Boucher in his latest TV ad attack on his opponent:

"Morgan Griffith and his friends in Washington are attacking Congressman Rick Boucher.  What they don't say is that Morgan Griffith has never lived in the 9th District."

They don't say it, Rick, because it's not true.

Griffith lived in the 9th District for four years when he was attending Emory & Henry College, Washington County, from 1976 to 1980.

You can look it up.

But why should Mr. Boucher start being honest with us after all these years?

I Wonder If The WaPo Will Be On This

Remember how the mainstream press excoriated George W. Bush for having "alienated" the entire world because of his "cowboy" foreign policy?  Well, nobody's going to accuse Barack Obama of being able to fill out a ten-gallon hat, but I wonder if any news outlets will heap similar derision on him for this?

And ...

I'll be holding my breath.

Quote of the Day

What have the Democrats done?

"What everyone else should understand is that the almost daily damage we're seeing as this law takes effect is not unintended. It is the heart and soul of ObamaCare."
