How Refreshing

The New York Times has decided that it has an obligation - call it journalism - to look into the past of a rising, and largely unknown, presidential candidate.

See "Paint Creek, the Town [Rick] Perry Left Behind."

Odd how that sense of obligation can be turned on and off depending on whose past needs to be exposed.

"Why does Obama let his critics define him?"

Answer: Because his friends at the New York Times refused to.
