Idiots With Face Lifts

The scariest part of this?  The woman was, until her party - by her antics - was sent into exile, just two slots removed from being president of the United States.

Scary indeed:
Pelosi blames GOP for job numbers
By Ian Swanson, The Hill

Republicans in Congress are to blame for the dismal economy, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Friday.

Pelosi said Republicans created uncertainty and instability by threatening to block a debt-ceiling deal, which risked causing the U.S. to default on its debt. She added that those lawmakers' constituents are now “paying the price.”

“We cannot afford another 241 days of Republican refusal to pass jobs legislation,” Pelosi said in a statement. “The only plans offered by Republicans have not only failed to create jobs — they actually have destroyed them.” [link]
The problem with joblessness began - in my rough estimation - some 44 months ago.  The Republicans have controlled the House (with the Democrats having power over the Senate and the presidency nearly throughout) for 8.

Beyond that, the "debt-ceiling deal," which lasted all of one month, caused the uncertainty that has gripped this country since a certain politician who promised to "transform this country" came to office and began doing just that?

Nancy Pelosi is a stupid woman.  And perhaps the most authoritative, if not most powerful, Democrat in Congress.

Speaks volumes.

Let it be noted, contrary to what Pelosi says above, the Republican Party in the House did pass "jobs legislation" this year.  It's called "the budget."  The Democrat Senate refused to vote on it and it went no further.  That same Senate, so Pelosi knows, has since not voted for any "jobs legislation."  Yet she blames the Republicans?
