What to make of this?
Not long ago when Obama was promoting a continuation of the Bush tax cuts, his best buddy Mr. Kaine had this to say in a press release dated 12/17/10, just nine months ago:
“Millions of hard-working Americans can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their taxes will not increase next year.”
Yet now that Obama is calling for the end of the Bush tax cuts, Kaine says this:
“Letting the Bush tax cuts expire … that’s not a tax increase.” (NBC News 12, 9/26/11)
So are they a tax increase or not?
Depends on the meaning of the word ... well, no it doesn't.
So what is the dude telling us?
Are we supposed to laugh at this point? I think so.
