I read the other day of some genius comparing the "Occupy Wall Street" movement to the American Revolution.
And there is one similarity.
The revolution had its Alexander Hamilton vs. Aaron Burr moment.*
The "occupy" movement? Homeless Desiree Nicholson vs. unnamed homeless victim.
I'm trying to remember if Burr and Hamilton went at each other over a cat. I can't recall ...
* I think of the American Revolution as having been fought right up to the Civil War, when the last vestige of colonialism - slavery - was killed off.
