The Difference Between Them & Us

When it comes to stopping Iran from developing nuclear weapons, both the United States and Israel have said publicly that it will not be permitted.  We all know, though, that the leadership in one of those two countries is just blowing smoke.  But the other?  How serious are the Israelis about shutting down Iran's nuclear program?

Deadly serious.

U.S. defense leaders are increasingly concerned that Israel is preparing to take military action against Iran ...

Israel actually doing something about Iran's threat to world peace scares the Obama administration more than Iran disrupting world peace and turning the entire Middle East into rubble.

Expect Obama to announce another series of sanctions to be applied against Iran any day now.  To be tossed on the heap of hundreds upon hundreds of sanctions - going back to the Clinton years - that are already in place.  Sanctions created and augmented with the intention of stopping Iran from obtaining the bomb.  The bomb that it will soon have.

If Obama is frightened by the Iranians, he should say so.  And let the Israelis do for him that which he's incapable of doing on his own.
