News From The War-on-Terror Front
My son-in-law, Marine Lt. Colonel Michael Kasprzyk, shown here recently receiving a commendation for his contribution to the war effort, is returning home this weekend from a six-month deployment. Next month he leaves for a one-year deployment to Bahrain.
Though it seems far removed now from our daily lives, the war on terror goes on.
And, like so many hundreds of thousands of wives, my daughter makes the best of it.
Here's to both of them for offering up the sacrifices they make.

Please tell your son-in-law that we thank him for his service to our nation.

Much respect.
Will do, Dave. And anonymous.
Thanks.
I thank God every day that we still have a dedicated military force and that men like this are in it. Let us pray that our fellow voters rid us of that Obama-ayers creature this Fall so we still have a Marine Corps next year. Your daughter has chosen a rocky road but it's never easy standing by the men who go in harms way to keep us (relatively) safe. The evil people in our midst make our continued freedom problematical but I think we'll muddle through with the help of God and a Few Good Men.
I've passed all the kind words on Michael. He's still overseas and won't be back until next week.
Thanks so much.
God bless him. Tell him "Semper Fi!" from one of his retired taxi drivers.
