I Told You So

Liberals in this country never got past the fact that Obama's proposed health care plan back in 2009 would "help people who couldn't help themselves."  Which, to the rest of us, meant that ObamaCare, as it came to be known, was going to be nothing more than another welfare program.  The most costly, damaging welfare program in American history.

It's now the law of the land.

And everything those liberals - and we - thought it was going to be is everything we prayed that it wouldn't be.  From "Health care reform: Four inconvenient truths":
President Barack Obama promised over and over during the health care debate that 'if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.' It turns out that, for a lot of people, that isn’t true.

And it’s not the only hard truth Obama and the law’s supporters are facing. No matter what they said about rising health care costs, those costs aren’t actually going to go down under health care reform.
So everything we warned you was going to happen when Obama's plan kicked in is happening. Our health care costs are going to skyrocket, our choices are going to be limited, and our actual care will worsen.

But there are a lot of people who will be getting it for free.

Obama will always be able to claim that.
