Sandra Fluke, The Media's New Joan of Arc

Remember Valerie Plame?

No?

Well, don't feel like the lone ranger.

But there was a time when her name was on the front page of every liberal newspaper in the country.  A wronged woman, trying to do what's right for her country, who was bullied by an all-powerful male.

A by-God Mary Queen of Scots!

And then the truth came out and she was sent off into oblivion forever.  (Though her head wasn't separated from her shoulders so the comparison to Mary ends there.)

Fast-forward to 2012.  And to the Valerie Plame of our day.

The woman who is on the front page of every liberal newspaper in the country.  A wronged woman, trying to do what's right for her country, who was bullied by ...

Sandra Fluke.

The warrior for all things good in this world.

The woman who had the courage to speak truth to power.

The apotheosis of purity and light.

A human being - a towering figure - a giant among mere mortals - for whom sainthood would be a slight.

Or just the latest feminist whiner to make the front page of every liberal newspaper ...

Perspective?

See how persecution and intimidation really manifest themselves.

And tell Sandra Fluke to take it somewhere else.  We're full up on her kind of nonsense here.

* Before someone writes and suggests that Mary Queen of Scots was actually bullied by Queen Elizabeth 1 - a female - I would respecrfully ask that they look up the name Sir Francis Walsingham and gain an understanding of who it was that dropped the axe.
