Ah, That Quaint Old Constitution

Without getting into an argument about what shouldn't be funded and what should, it's at least interesting to note that the only two expenditures out of all these are (a) the military, (b) transportation, (c) (running the-) government and (d) interest on the debt.

The rest?  FDR/Lyndon Johnson "dream with me" kinda stuff.  And agriculture.

To think: Our federal government will shell out three trillion of these jewels this year to maintain the completely screwed-up system that we have.

And there are those who think four trillion will make everything better ...
