Facebook, Meet Reality

What have I been saying for years about the now-public corporation that hundreds of millions of human beings frequent?

"General Motors announced just days before the offering date that it was withdrawing all its paid advertising from Facebook out of doubts that the site is an effective advertising medium."

Advertisers beware.  It's not the number of people who drive by your billboard.  It's the amount of stuff you sell as a result of the billboard being there.  "Impressions" don't put bread on the table.

Thus: "Facebook's epic fail."

This should not have been a surprise.
