What's Wrong With This Story?

There's a shortage of farm labor in Alabama because the Governor there has instituted a crackdown on illegal immigrants?

A labor shortage going on at a time when we have 14 million Americans looking for - and not finding - work?

Can welfare and unemployment be that enticing that non-illegals feel no need to get their hands dirty working in the fields?

If so, we've got serious problems in this country.

What ever happened to "workfare"?
