When Will They Kill Ethanol?

It was a great concept.  But it failed to measure up.  So why is it still around? Why is it still promoted by the United States government? Why is it part of the law of the land?

See The Conservationist’s Case for Ending the Reign of Ethanol.

Ethanol is like windmills.  Both are wonderful solutions to America's energy woes, until they are put to practical application.  Then both prove to be useless.  And costly.  And distracting.

Yet both continue to be promoted by - and heavily subsidized by - Obama and the United States Congress.

Sometimes I worry for my country.
