Tying Climate Change To Racism?

Oh, why not ...

This in the Huffington Post (naturally):

"Climate change is kind of like racism. Nobody really wants to talk about it, but it is as critical as it is constructive that we have that conversation now. Whether politicians, pundits or polls bring it up or not, like racism, we all know climate change is real. We all know it threatens our peace, security and the very unity of these United States of America."

As you might imagine, this dude looked out his New York City window, saw a Category 1 hurricane blowing (a tempest that was barely more than a tropical storm, if we could get "real") and saw ...

... racism?

This so explains the mindset.

Racism is climate change denial.

And, probably, it's the "war on women" and gay bashing too, if we were to probe the depths.

For the love of God.  What's with these people?
