Romney Strong Out of the Starting Gate

If he avoids one-on-one interviews with Obama's press and focuses on delivering powerful speeches powerfully delivered, he could very well retire the man currently in the White House who has wreaked so much devastation on our country.  This is a darn good beginning:

A great line well-delivered:

"It's still about the economy and we're not stupid."

James Carville must have grinned at that one.

And another one:

"We will stop the days of apologizing for success at home and never again apologize for America abroad."

And, perhaps without knowing its significance, Romney pierced the hearts of a lot of loyal citizens around the country who worry for their children's future with this phrase:

"We were America ..."

We want to be America again.

Here's to Mitt Romney.

Another Reason To Ban The EPA

It seemed like a good idea when Richard Nixon created it.

But now it is on a mission.  A Jihad.  And it's adopted an approach to solving problems - problems that were, in truth, solved long ago if it's original mission is understood - that would make Osama bin Ladin proud:

EPA Official on Oil Companies: 'Crucify Them'!

A government - your government! - agency with a mission that calls for nothing less than the destruction  of our way of life.

Radical environmentalists have taken Arbor Day with its ceremonial planting of trees ...

... to Earth Day with its balloons and calls for conservation ...

... to The Day After Tomorrow.

We went from this:

... to this:

The EPA is out of control.

It must be stopped.

George Zimmerman - like Barack Obama - is part-black.

Oh, my.

Screw With It At Your Peril

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ..."
-- The Constitution of the United States of America --

Sometimes its application will not be to your liking:

Teacher sues over Catholic school firing for using [In vitro fertilization].

But any thoughts of changing the Bill of Rights to suit one's interests should be tempered with the chilling reality that the end-result will make the Bill of Rights a worthless piece of fish wrap.

- - -

The same applies to another part of the 1st Amendment - "Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech ..."

A Marine is kicked out of the Corps for voicing his opinion of Obama?

But understand: He has every right to speak his mind.  But not in uniform.

Many Obama supporters would applaud the ejection of this man from the military.

I would ask them to go back and rethink Teacher sues over Catholic school firing for using [In vitro fertilization].

What's good for the goose ...

Or not:

[Obama official]: 'No one knows' if US headed to $9/gal gas

Well, maybe someone who has significant ability to influence the price of gas should know.

For the love of God.
