Facebook, Meet Reality

What have I been saying for years about the now-public corporation that hundreds of millions of human beings frequent?

"General Motors announced just days before the offering date that it was withdrawing all its paid advertising from Facebook out of doubts that the site is an effective advertising medium."

Advertisers beware.  It's not the number of people who drive by your billboard.  It's the amount of stuff you sell as a result of the billboard being there.  "Impressions" don't put bread on the table.

Thus: "Facebook's epic fail."

This should not have been a surprise.

Why We Fight Environmentalists

A quote from one of them:

"The United States symbolises the worst ideologies in the world: growth and freedom."

If we lose this fight, expect neither.

So fight.

Trayvon Case Clearly An Overreach

The evidence is finally coming out.  And it generally supports George Zimmerman's story line.  Second-degree murder?  Not even.

So says the guy I want representing me when the law comes a'knocking, Alan Dershowitz:

"If this evidence turns out to be valid, the prosecutor will have no choice but to drop the second-degree murder charge against Zimmerman — if she wants to act ethically, lawfully and professionally."

They're going to have to knock down the charge.  Right?

Wouldn't that be the right thing to do?

So Sad To Be Both Confused & Stupid

Those 99%'ers crack me up.  They're more entertaining than all the shows on television combined.

The latest escapade?
OOPS: CHICAGO OCCUPIERS TRY TO PROTEST RUSH LIMBAUGH‘S ’OFFICE’…BUT GET CITY WRONG
By Madeleine Morgenstern, The Blaze

A crowd of Occupy protesters in Chicago descended on Rush Limbaugh’s “office” Thursday to air their grievances about the conservative radio host.

The problem? Despite their references to”Rush’s office building“ and ”Rush Limbaugh’s studio,” they weren’t in the right place — not by more than 1,000 miles.

It seems the protesters — banded together by this weekend’s NATO summit — confused Limbaugh’s real “office building” with one of the hundreds of stations that merely air his show. Limbaugh lives in Palm Beach, Fla. [link]
Idiots.  Complete idiots.
