Even With All The Cheerleading ...

... from the Democrats in Washington, from the media, from insurance companies (including AARP) and pharmaceutical companies that stand to benefit in a huge way if ObamaCare gets fully implemented, the American people - in overwhelming numbers - see past the rah-rah and know what kind of time-bomb the President's plan to nationalize our health care system really is.

I am so proud of my fellow Americans:
New Poll: The Supreme Court and the Health Care Law

More than two-thirds of Americans hope the Supreme Court will overturn some or all of the 2010 health care law, according to a new poll conducted by The New York Times and CBS News. Just 24 percent said they hoped the court “would keep the entire health care law in place.”

The Supreme Court is expected to decide a challenge to the law by the end of this month.

Forty-one percent of those surveyed said the court should strike down the entire law, and another 27 percent said the justices should overturn only the individual mandate, which requires most Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty.

More than 70 percent of independent voters said they wanted to see some or all of the law struck down, with a majority saying they hoped to see the whole law overturned. Twenty-two percent of independents said they hoped the entire law would survive. [link] [emphasis mine]
It's telling that Obama will do his level best to avoid talking about his "signature" piece of legislation when he's out campaigning for reelection. He knows how unpopular his train wreck of a health care overhaul ObamaCare is.

The Supreme Court would do him a big favor and put that monstrosity out of its - and his - misery.

Sooner rather than later.

It's Not Too Late

I hear John Edwards is still up for the gig if the Democrats decide to have a showdown - soon - with Kid Marvelous and make him an offer he can't refuse:

With five months until Election Day, Barack Obama faces a grim new reality: Republicans now believe Mitt Romney can win, and Democrats believe Obama can lose ...

That offer?

To put his likeness on Mt. Rushmore.

If they can get that swelled head of his on that mountain, they should have no difficulty convincing him to bow out.

That's really why he lowered himself to the position in the first place.

‘It’s Still About Hope and Change,’ Obama Tells San Francisco Donors

We Should Live So Long

No. Not really:

Ethics committee says case against Waters to move forward

Yeah. Horny snails mate at a pace more brisk than the "investigation" of Maxine Waters has proceeded.

Maybe sometime before the next Ice Age ...

* Nobody captures imagery like I do on a good day.  Horny snails.  Ya gotta appreciate that.

Time To Gloat II

Don't worry.  We'll get serious about dumping Obama again soon.  But for a few precious hours let's bask in the misery of the mentally impaired.  Otherwise known as liberals who can't deal with the fact that Governor Scott Walker won a resounding reelection bid.

This is muy bueno:

I wonder if they'll get so fed up and/or discouraged with the way things are that they'll move to "the people's paradise" of Cuba.

Right. Sure they will.
