Just Goes To Show

Not all morons are Democrats.

Most.  But not all.

Uh Oh. This Is Not Going To Please The Environmentalists.

You'd think it would.  But then you think like a normal human being.

The news:
Fracking Leads To Cleaner Air
Investor's Business Daily editorial

Carbon emissions in the U.S. have hit a 20-year low due to a supposedly environmentally unfriendly drilling technique that has created an abundance of cheap natural gas. The free market, it seems, does it better than the EPA.

Environmentalists find themselves between shale rock and a hard place after a little noticed technical report documented how the natural gas boom caused by the use of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, has actually helped the environment in a major way while also creating jobs and economic growth.

In the report, the U.S. Energy Information Agency, a part of the Energy Department, said that energy-related U.S. CO2 emissions for the first four months of this year fell to about 1992 levels. EIA estimates that full-year emissions will be the lowest since at least 1995.

The untold story is that this has been achieved by the free market and private-sector technology, not government mandates. [link]
That last part is especially heart-cockle-warming. While Obama still screws around with windmills and electric cars, true technological advancements in energy development are being made by the private sector. A lesson that will be lost on our doofus of a president, to be sure.

Beyond that, with this technology proving to be every environmentalist's dream, you'd think every environmentalist would be jumping for joy over this advancement.

You'd think wrong.

Idiots. They're just idiots.

Such The Shock

I hope you're sitting down:

"An Occupy organizer admitted over the weekend that the goal of his protest group was to "overthrow the capitalist system and build communism."

Because it's worked so well everywhere it's been tried.

What a dumbass.

James Webb, Still Rudderless, Clueless

This is what we get when we elect vacuous, inexperienced people to high office:
Retiring Virginia Sen. Webb: Healthcare bill 'great regret'
By Steve Contorno, Washington Examiner

Retiring Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va., said Monday charged [sic] that President Obama's handling of the sweeping healthcare overhaul unnecessarily caused a great deal of fear in the country.

The Virginia Democrat, in a wide-ranging interview on MSNBC's "Daily Rundown," told host Chuck Todd that it was his "great regret" that the Obama administration scared Americans with a large bill that lacked direction.

"My great regret on that is I believe the whole healthcare issue could have been handled differently by the administration and over here [in the Senate]," said Webb, who is retiring after just one term. "I think the way that the process was put forward without a clear set of principles from the administration caused a lot of fear in the country. We had five different committees boiling down 7,000 pages of contradictory information at a time when the country was in a recession and people were talking about this other stuff."

"So you regret voting for it?" Todd asked.

"No. In the end, I voted with Republicans 18 times, but in the end I voted for it. But we do need to move forward. We need to find different ways to work with these issues. We could have had a smaller, more focused package and the country would have been a lot more comfortable with the process." [link]
ObamaCare is his great regret. But he doesn't regret voting for it.

What?

Sounds like a man who wants to have it both ways.

Either that or he's still as confused as ever.

This guy was an embarrassment from Day 1. And he continues to shame us, right to the bitter end.

Go away, man. The harm is done.
