I Think It's Fair To Say ...

... Obama has gotten all he wanted out of his presidency.  Material for his third novel.

From here on out - win or lose - he really doesn't give two squirts about us.

We deserve better. We deserve leadership.

A Heartbeat Away ...

Lest ye thought that our vice president had finally been sent to the insane asylum, you should know, he's still out there.  And he's joined the opposition.

That's right.

Joe Biden is now doing the work of the GOP.

See "How they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that's been buried in the last four years."

Four awful years, right, Joe?

Should we laugh or be very, very worried?

At Least SOMEONE Has Done Well

I wrote the other day about how ironic it was that the one group of Americans that Obama despises the most is the same group that his supporters cite as having done exceedingly well during his time in the White House.  He hates the rich.  But nobody has fared better than they have over the last four years.  Hello?

Let's take the focus off the rich, however.  How's the rest of the country done now that he's been able to institute all that he promised in 2008?

Answer: Horribly.

From Investor's Business Daily, "Under Obama, Poor, Middle Class Incomes Fall Sharply":

Obama has spent trillions to make life better for the average American.  And life has gotten much, much worse.

Four more years?  Of that?

He Hated Us Then

One wonders what he thinks of us now.

This is the guy who was going to close the racial divide.  Heal a wounded nation.  Take us to that point where we would, indeed, judge a man by his character and not ...

Oh, bullshit.

He hated white people in 2007.  And, as is made clear in this video that has apparently just (re)surfaced, he was quite proud of it. (Note, by the way, that he's got his "Mississippi" on as he delivers this speech; a southern accent coming from a politician raised in Hawaii; key word being politician):

Obama: “We don’t need to build more highways out in the suburbs. We should be investing in minority-owned business, in our neighborhoods.”

Kinda goes along with the resentment and disdain he exuded in that speech he delivered two months ago in Roanoke in which he went after those who have worked over the years to make this a better nation. "You didn't build that!"

Is it any wonder that race relations have been set back a half-century since Obama became president?

T'was the night before elections ...

And all thru' the town,
Tempers were flaring
Emotions ran up and down.

I in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap,
Had shut off the TV,
tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden,
There arose such a noise,
I peered out my window,
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet,
They wanted my pay
To hand out to others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money,
And quick as a wink,
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink.

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart.
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, on Pelosi,
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause,
And as they flew out of sight,
I heard him laugh at a nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note...

Why Was This Ignored?

Incompetent?  Distracted?  Disinterested?  What's going on?
U.S. Consulate in Benghazi Bombed Twice in Run-Up to 9/11 Anniversary
By Eli Lake, Daily Beast

In the five months leading up to this year’s 9/11 anniversary, there were two bombings on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and increasing threats to and attacks on the Libyan nationals hired to provide security at the U.S. missions in Tripoli and Benghazi.

Details on these alleged incidents stem in part from the testimony of a handful of whistleblowers who approached the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in the days and weeks following the attack on the Benghazi consulate. The incidents are disclosed in a letter to be sent Tuesday to Hillary Clinton from Rep. Darrell Issa, the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the chairman of the oversight committee’s subcommittee that deals with national security.

The State Department did not offer comment on the record last night. [link] [emphasis mine]
Why does it take a whistleblower to bring to the American people the information we seek regarding the debacle that was Benghazi? Why does Hillary refuse to be straight with us?

This is so wrong.  And it gets more wrong every day.

The White House has no comment?

Instead, Hillary promises to provide answers. Some day.
