Hillary Hears The Approaching Footsteps

She'd do well to get out.  Before the door opens and the truth drags her out.
Author Ed Klein: As Benghazi blame nears Hillary, Clintons grow furious
By Alex Pappas, The Daily Caller

With tensions between President Obama and the Clintons at a new high, former President Bill Clinton is moving fast to develop a contingency plan for how his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, should react if Obama attempts to tie the Benghazi fiasco around her neck, according to author Ed Klein.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller, Klein said sources close to the Clintons tell him that Bill Clinton has assembled an informal legal team to discuss how the Secretary of State should deal with the issue of being blamed for not preventing the Benghazi terrorist attack last month.

White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters during a press conference Friday that responsibility for the consulate in Libya fell on the State Department, not the White House. [link]
Clinton has assembled a legal team? What's that all about?  Why not Carville and his misdirection team?

It's too bad Obama won't have to endure a second term in office. This war between his people and the Clintons is only now getting interesting.

What Was Their First Clue?

Attacks in Libya become unexpected weak spot for Obama campaign

The only thing "unexpected" about it is the fact that the media haven't blamed George W. Bush or Sarah Palin for this shameful scandal.

Joe Biden As Detached As Ever

The Wall Street Journal sums up well the freaky escapade that took place the other night in the vice President's debate with Paul Ryan:

"Don't worry, be happy may be a good campaign theme for Mr. Biden. Don't worry about a resurgent al Qaeda in North Africa. Or the escalating war in Syria. Or Iran's mullahs with weapons grade uranium, or Vladimir Putin's increasingly anti-American policy, or China's muscular antics in the Pacific. Overseas, said Mr. Biden, this Administration has 'repaired our alliances so the rest of the world follows up again.' He clearly knows something the world doesn't."

Ignorance is bliss, eh, Joe?

Obama Was Going To Cut The Deficit In Half

But half of what?

Reckless and out of control.

And there are no plans to stop it.

The Final Word On The VEEP Debate

From Michael Walsh:
In the wake of last night’s bizarre vice-presidential debate, the takeaway notion is clear: an insane person is currently a heartbeat away from the White House. A giggling, mugging, eye-rolling, head-shaking lunatic, who was clearly under instruction from his political masters to go out there and show the country that the Left is not just a bunch of kumbaya kommie pansies but real red-blooded all-Americans, the kind of guys you’d want to be in a bar fight with.

Biden’s performance is being widely compared to the Joker in the Batman comics and movies, but say what you will about the Joker, he had [sic] least had a seriousness of purpose behind his grimacing mien. What’s Biden’s excuse? He doubled down on the suicidal stupidity of trying to blame the Intelligence Community for the political and moral evil that occurred last month in Benghazi — an unforced error necessitated by electoral desperation and President Obama’s overweening and arrogant sense of his own genius that will cost the administration dearly in the back alleys of foreign policy, where the IC can seriously affect the outcome of the game. He insulted Ryan (a man who’s never given Biden any personal affront) to his face, repeatedly — a blunder that won’t quickly be forgotten or forgiven when Ryan moves into the Naval Observatory. He embarrassed and shamed those good folks on the other side of the aisle who truly believe in the rightness of their cause.

And he seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself as he did so.
Biden is a heartbeat away.

A heartbeat away ...
